Everything that is a proper blue-water cruiser from the Swedish island of Orust is part of the package. The lines from German Frers give the boat an unmistakable beauty and the boat is easily identifiable as a Hallberg-Rassy. The lines also provide very respectable speed for a 36-footer. A supermodel for a couple with guests or a family with two children.

This Hallberg-Rassy 36 mk2 from 1995 is sold by only its second owner. The first owner was Danish and sold the boat to the current owner in 2018 when he was 84 years old. At that point in his life, he had not used the boat much the last couple of years. The current, and second owner, is Swedish and was in the market for a Hallberg-Rassy 36 mk2. The mk2 model was introduced in 1995, which is also the model year of this boat, #321. The boat has only sailed in Danish and Swedish waters, which shows. The interior woodwork is in good condition, and she is ready to sail as is. The sails were updated in 2012 and since the precious owner did not use the boat much in the later years of his ownership, they are still in nice condition, partially due to the fact that they are Elvström DCX sails, not the standard Dacron sails. The electronics is not new, but has been updated in two steps, 2008 and 2015. The batteries were replaced in 2022, as were the spray hood and cockpit tent. In addition to this, the hull was stripped of all old paint with new epoxi applied in 2023 and antifouling with VC17 done last in 2024. A good solid base for most future antifouling systems.

To regain its full glory, the boat would benefit from new upholstery down below, as this is original and shows clear signs of age.
