Chinese bowl made in Qianlong style.
It is decorated in the Chinese famille rose (粉彩, fěncǎi) palette and depicts the same kind of court or garden scenes with figures in pavilions, surrounded by flowers, fruits, and ornamental borders.
Decoration and style
* The pink, green, blue, yellow, and iron-red enamels are typical of famille rose porcelain.
* The alternating cartouches containing flowers and fruit are characteristic of export wares inspired by Qing dynasty designs.
* The interior features small narrative scenes with elegantly dressed figures, while the exterior continues the pavilion motif.
This style was very popular during the Qing dynasty, especially under the Qianlong emperor, and has been reproduced extensively through the 19th and 20th centuries.
Age
Based on this single photograph, my estimate is similar to the jar: Most likely: Mid-20th century (approximately 1950–1980).
The painting is hand made.
