Varubeskrivning
Skick: Mycket bra skick - som ny
Designer: Peter Opsvik
If you have a sit-stand desk, this is the chair you want. This one has the top spec, black leather and the tall lift, at about a third of the new price.
Let’s get the flaw out of the way first, because you’ll find it anyway. There’s a small white glue mark at the top of the back of the backrest (photo 4). You can’t see it while you’re sitting at your desk, it doesn’t affect comfort or the structure, and I’ve lowered the price for it. That’s the bad news, and it’s all of the bad news.
The good news: one owner, low mileage, and paperwork.
This is a HÅG Capisco 8106, Peter Opsvik’s saddle chair (kontorsstol / sadelstol), in the all-black Paloma leather spec. That’s Flokk’s top leather grade. I bought it new from DPJ Workspace in Stockholm in November 2020, and the order confirmation comes with the chair. HÅG’s 10-year warranty runs from the production date (November 2020), so it should cover manufacturing faults until around 2030, and the DPJ order confirmation comes with the chair.
Low mileage because I had a standing desk and mostly stood at it, so this chair spent a lot of its life waiting for me to sit down. The foam is still firm, the leather has no cracks, and the lift and tilt work smoothly.
The tall 265 mm gas lift (gaspelare) is the part people come looking for. It’s the extended cylinder, not the standard one. The seat goes from about 55 to 81 cm, so it works at a normal desk and at standing height (höj- och sänkbart skrivbord). You can sit normally, sit astride the saddle, or perch halfway.
