Selling my old Apple eMac G4 from the early 2000s. A classic Apple computer with a built-in CRT screen, original keyboard and mouse.
The computer has been in storage since around 2010 and is being sold as a restoration project or for spare parts.
Condition and functionality:
The computer does not always start up properly. The power button needs a long hold and even then doesn't always turn on. The last time I managed to get it running (today), I wiped my old files and personal data and booted OSX from a usb drive as far as the Welcome screen (see photos)
The CD/DVD drive opened and closed successfully when last tested. Although I have not tested the drive itself.
Original Apple keyboard and mouse included. Both work, although the mouse is not in great condition and the tracking is poor.
Some large scratches on the top of the casing (see photos).
UK power plug.
Some original documentation and CDs included, although unfortunately the original Mac OS X installation disc is missing.
A nice vintage Apple computer for collectors, retro computing enthusiasts or anyone who enjoys restoring older technology.
Although I was able to boot it successfully from USB during my last attempt, it does not start reliably and is therefore sold as-is, without any guarantee of full functionality.
Collection from Nacka due to its size and weight.
