The front and rear derailleur have been removed so it's just a single speed. Deore XT rear mech can follow if wanted.
The bike has lots of signs of usage and the paint shows it's age.
The front fork works but the rebound is very slow.
Unless you plan to do a full teardown and rebuild I wouldn't recommend using this for off-road mountain biking.
I bought this bike purely because I wanted a Klein, even if it's just a pulse. My idea was to make it into a single speed town bike that was a little more unusual that others and one for the retro mountain bike enthusiasts who maybe don't want a bike worth many thousands kronors being left at the station.
But alas I have several bike builds that aren't getting finished and can't justify having 4 mountain bikes, 1 road bike and an unfinished frame in the garage and would like to get it down to just two bikes and have space in the garage again
