Skick: Bra skick - varsamt använd
The Steinberg MR816 CSX is an absolute legendary piece of hardware with fantastic preamps and DSP, but because it relies on the deprecated FireWire (IEEE 1394) interface, keeping it alive today requires navigating a bit of a compatibility minefield.
Steinberg officially designated the MR series as obsolete years ago, but depending on your operating system, you can absolutely still use it. Windows 11 with a dedicated PCIe FireWire card is the easiest way and they will still show up in the latest DAWs as an ASIO audio interface, but you will obviously lack the direct integration that they were famous for. I can supply a small Word document as a guide for setup. I used these for recording, but they can also be reconfigured and used as a stand-alone 8ch microphone preamp if you want to skip the potential FireWire compatibility issues.

Original new price was around 16000kr. I would hate to see these go to waste, so please let me know if you are up for giving them a second life!
