The YN560 IV is an upgraded version of the YN560 III. It features a built-in wireless trigger, which means the YN560 IV can directly trigger another YN560 IV or YN560 III without the need for an external transmitter.
In contrast, the YN560 III is just a standalone flash without a built-in trigger — it can be triggered by other devices but cannot trigger other flashes itself.
