In English, please hase been specially created to help STS Språkresor students make the most of their English-language courses. The first part of the book consists of a lively and colourful presentation of useful information about Britain and the British way of life. It has been written with the student of English in mind: the language level is carefully controlled; all the material is authentic, using the everyday English STS students will and use; the topics have been choosen for their relevance to young people on short study trips. The second part of the book consists of a two-level grammar workbook. In it there is a wide range of exercises designed to test and improve every students understanding of how the English language works. An answer key is provided to help students study by themselves. In fact, In English please combines all the best aspects of a study course with the STS: intensive language learning, combined with on-the-spot experience of Britain and Malta, and the cultural context of an English-speaking country.
