For sale is a stunning, original color aquatint by the renowned Estonian avant-garde master, Ado Lill. This piece, titled "Saarel III" (On the Island III), was created in 1990—a pivotal era in Baltic art history as the region moved toward independence.
Lill was a giant of Estonian Abstract Expressionism, known for his masterful use of the intaglio process to create soft, ethereal textures. This work features his signature minimalist, erotic style with high-contrast figures and delicate tonal washes.
