Up for sale is the most sought-after version of the famous Helios 44-2 with its distinctive swirly bokeh. It's a Soviet reproduction of a Carl Zeiss Biotar 58mm f/2,
This specific model was made by the KMZ factory, known for producing the best copies, known for their quality and lack of QA issues. It's also made in rare Black Lacquer finish, which looks absolutely gorgeous IRL.
Condition: see cosmetic condition in the photos provided. The optical condition is nearly flawless, with no fungus, haze, or balsam separation. The lens has been tested with a mirrorless camera - see photo examples attached. The lens has a double aperture ring, clicked and declicked that makes it great for video work.
