Produced between 2014-2016. The very last of the 40mm Sea Dwellers with inner and outer boxes, manual, leather card wallet and Watch Registry Certificate. The price reflects that fact there is no Rolex Plastic Card. 100% Rolex.
40mm stainless steel case with helium escape valve for extreme depths diving, unidirectional rotating bezel with engraved black Cerachrom insert, black dial, Chromalight appliques on hands and hour markers, and Oyster bracelet with Oyster lock folding clasp, Glidelock extension system, and Flip lock extension link. Water resistant to 4,000 feet (1,220 meters). Design introduced at Baselworld 2014.
The stainless-steel Oyster bracelet does not just have one extension system, but in fact, two of them. First, there is the Glide lock extension, permitting the wearer to extend or shorten the bracelet in 2 mm increments up to 20mm. Then there is the Fliplock extension link, which extends the bracelet by 26 mm. All in, the Sea-Dweller 4000 can be worn over a 7 mm wet suit.
