Hello. I am considering possibly rehoming my 1 year old Border Collie/Longhaired Collie mix, Felix. I am not in a rush to rehome and may keep him if a suitable home is not found. He is my baby, and the only reason I’m even considering rehoming is that we live in an apartment and he can be quite loud.
He is good with cats as we have one at home. I believe he would do best with older children only, no younger children, and no other dogs. He needs a lot of space or time outside to exercise, and would likely do best not in an apartment. A countryside home would do him well as he finds the constant noise of city life stressful.
He is chipped and has an up to date rabies shot and swedish pet passport. He is due his yearly vaccinations, but will get those soon. He is not castrated.
He has recall command, and also knows sit, down, stay, give paw, and touch nose. He is partially trained to rollover. He does have an issue with pulling on the lead, but we are correcting this. He is fully house trained and goes outside.
He would be rehomed with his crate, toys, grooming equipment, bed, food etc. Everything we bought for him.
