Antik meerschaumpipa med bärnstensmunstycke – hästhuvud, ca 1890-1900
Beskrivning:
Mycket vacker och påkostad antik pipa i äkta meerschaum (sjöskum) med munstycke i naturlig bärnsten, rikt skulpterad i form av ett dramatiskt hästhuvud.
Pipan är handgjord, sannolikt i Tyskland eller Österrike kring sekelskiftet 1900, och levereras med sitt originaletui märkt “Echte Meerschaum & Bernstein”.

A superb and highly decorative antique meerschaum pipe, masterfully hand-carved in the form of a dynamic horse’s head, executed with exceptional sculptural skill and attention to anatomical detail.
The pipe is carved from genuine meerschaum (sepiolite) and fitted with an original natural amber mouthpiece, beautifully aged and softly translucent. It is preserved in its original fitted leather case, stamped “Echte Meerschaum & Bernstein”, confirming the authenticity of both materials.
