Svalbard Infinium Gore-tex N55-0509 The Svalbard is a classic raglan sleeve car coat, developed this season to be reversible for maximum usability, constructed from an Italian Super 100's wool from Vitale Barberis Canonico and lined with a GORE-TEX® INFINIUM™ liner. Finished with Thermore compact insulation, for excellent warmth to weight ratio. Vitale Barberis Canonico has been producing the finest Italian fabric since 1663. It is one of the the world's great textiles mills. We have selected a textured melange wool, which as well as being natural, biodegradable, non allergenic and finished with a water-repellent finish, is combined with GORE-TEX® INFINIUM™ to create a garment of the highest quality and functionality. The totally windproof, yet extremely breathable GORE-TEX® INFINIUM™ membrane blocks the wind and allows water vapor to escape. This combination of protection and breathability minimizes the wind’s chilling effect. The reversible feature of this jacket gives the ability to wear the jacket either side out.
