Longing:Distance
The Longing:Distance collection, is a series of works that explore the human need for closeness and love – and the invisible barriers we often create against the very things we long for. The written words symbolize a desire to be seen, heard, and accepted, while the tape serves as a reminder of the obstacles – both physical and emotional – that we place between ourselves and others.
The artwork is a poetic reflection on the eternal interaction between desire and distance, between the courage to love and the fear of being hurt. It invites us to question our own boundaries and perhaps, just perhaps, allow ourselves to receive the good things life has to offer.
Hot Dads
Hot Dads is a series that dismantles the clichés of fatherhood and masculinity. It moves between humor and vulnerability, between the banality of everyday routines and stigmas.
Each work is both ironic and tender: a parody of domestic masculinity and at the same time a recognition of its fragile, human core. They form a fragmented mythology of the father — sometimes sensitive, sometimes vulnerable, always hot.
