This piece is my interpretation of Jesus through the lens of cubism — a style that challenges the eye to see truth from many angles. Inspired by Picasso, I wanted to merge abstraction with realism, showing both the human vulnerability and divine presence within Him. The fragmented forms reflect the complexity of faith and the way beauty often exists within brokenness. Each shape, color, and line carries emotion — a reminder that even in distortion, there is clarity, and in chaos, there is peace.
In this painting, I reimagined Jesus through a cubist perspective — deconstructing form to reveal deeper layers of meaning. Cubism has always fascinated me because it mirrors how we truly see the world: not all at once, but in fragments, moments, and reflections. By blending realism with abstraction, I wanted to honor both the physical presence of Christ and the mystery of His spirit. This portrait is not just an image — it’s a meditation on perception, faith, and the divine complexity of being human.
This portrait of Jesus is my attempt to unite two worlds — the structured abstraction of cubism and the raw depth of realism. Picasso’s influence guided the form, but the emotion came from a place of faith and contemplation. The fractured geometry represents how our understanding of the divine is never complete — we see only pieces, yet the whole still radiates through. Painting this felt like prayer in color and form, a dialogue between faith, art, and the human heart.
