Porsche Boxster

Boxter manufactured 1999 in Finland, exported to USA, lived ten years in sunny Long Beach California, imported back to Sweden after this. Many options, from the codes in the book; Oval exhaust,wood alu gear shif knob, stainless door entry panels, alumin painted instrument dials with brushed chrome inner rings, 18" alloy turbo look wheels, cd shelf, whel caps with colored crest audio option package, Valmet prodn made in Finland, floor mats, antitheft with remote keys, windstop, am/fm radio CDR200, engine storage box behind seats. New quality German cotton Himmelin soft top with glass window, good summer and reasonable winter wheels and tyres on porsche alloys. service history documented in US to 83000km then with major and annual from that point with receipts. Newly recovered seats with a kit from Finonimus Canada, note the original leather was worn just where the driver gets in and out but foam beneath was very good. Good modern stereo with BT. 5 speed manual gearbox, the one to have. 116919km. Low miles. recently serviced. possibly resprayed or relaquered sometime in same dark metallic blue, which was the original colour. Long test. Only problem is the check engine light comes on at over 3000rpm and its the Variocam sensor, which is non critical but could do with replacing. Drives great. Good provenance. Not complete service history but most major minor and yearly services. all inspection certs. tax month November 1985kr. It appears that the red Boxter S brake calipers have been fitted, photo enclosed, as the orignals are quite boring. This being a 1999 model it has twin Intermediate shaft bearings which are NOT prone to failing (less than 1%), the later single bearing has occasionally failed (6%). This design is more robust and seems OK.Drives great on winter tyres now.
