BMW 320i

*** Ownership: ***

I've owned this car since February 2025. Since then I've put roughly 600 mil (6,000 km) on it, almost entirely in-city miles. I chose this particular BMW for the driving experience this generation of the 3 Series is so well known for — stable, confident handling combined with a surprisingly spacious cabin. That combination is exactly what makes it a good fit for a smaller family who wants room for luggage on trips, without giving up the driving feel.

*** Service: ***

Right after buying it, my first priority was safety. I booked the car in for a full voluntarily inspection at a mechanical workshop, specifically to go through the entire car and see if anything needed attention before I drove it with my family.

Based on that inspection, the following was replaced during 2025:

• Länkarmsbussningar (HTV)
• Backspegel, vänster
• Ventilkåpspackning
• Spolarpump
• New summer tires (full new set, not used)

In August, the car was also included in a BMW manufacturer recall covering the passenger-side airbag. The replacement was carried out at an authorized BMW service workshop in Sweden in October 2025, and I have attached a document in the images section showing all the details of the work done.

In 2026, I did the inspection (besiktning) beginning of June and it identified two more items in need of attention:

• Spindelled, höger
• körriktningsvisare, bak höger, fel färg

Both were replaced, and the car passed the follow-up inspection without remarks. The next inspection isn't due until August 31, 2027.

I haven't let problems sit on this car. Anything the inspections flagged got fixed right away rather than getting pushed down the road.

*** Condition: ***

Engine runs smoothly with no issues. Gearbox shifts smoothly and responsively. All electronics and equipment function exactly as they should. Interior shows only normal signs of use relative to its age and mileage — no significant damage or flaws.

In the interest of full transparency: there are a few minor surface rust spots, mainly around the lower edges of the doors — entirely consistent with a car of this age. This is cosmetic rust and doesn't affect the car's function or driving performance in any way.

*** Practicality: ***

The car is surprisingly spacious for its size, with plenty of room for luggage and gear — a great fit if you have a smaller family and want space for your things on trips, without needing to drive something bigger.

*** Inspection: ***

Passed without remarks after 2026 repairs. Valid until August 31, 2027.
