BMW 420

The Car:
2016 BMW 420d F36 xDrive, M Sport package with M Sport Alcantara interior. I'm the second owner, I've had it for 5 years and drove almost 40,000 km on it. It's been great.

Why I'm Selling:
It was initially my main car, but then we bought a newer electric car with my wife, and the BMW became our second car. It's been like that for a couple of years, until I also bought a pickup truck, which can now serve as a secondary car too, and the need for the BMW went to 0.
It's still a great car, we just don't drive it, and I hate seeing it just sitting there. Initially I thought I would own it until it's very old, but oh well.

Why I Love It:
Fuel Economy: It has very good fuel economy - I managed to get an average of 4.3L/100km on my trip to Denmark, and my mixed average is about 5.5L/100km.
Performance: It has plenty of torque and power for any kind of responsible driving. The 8-speed Steptronic sport gearbox is amazing.
Maintenance: The spare parts are surprisingly affordable, and being a BMW, you can get original parts online on Trodo, instead of having to call the dealer.

Manual seats with adjustable side and lumbar support (these are actually preferred in 3 and 4 series because they can go much lower, resulting in a more comfortable sitting position)

Condition & History:
The condition is great. It's all in original paint, has some scratches due to age that were just repaired with touch-up paint, but it's all original paint all around, and none of the panels were ever removed from the car. It has never been in accidents. I have a tool to measure the paint thickness that we can use to confirm that, or you can bring your own.

Mileage: 99,050 km (bought at 60,000 km)
Mechanical condition is great - there have been no check engine lights over my entire ownership period, it has never ever broken down, and always passed the inspection on the first attempt. No strange noises in the suspension or the engine, everything works as if the car was new. When I noticed that there was some rubber boot cracked, I replaced it immediately. This is the most reliable car I've ever owned. I've been changing oil every 15,000 km (twice more often than BMW recommends) ever since I had this car.
Recent maintenance: Replaced the lower control arms on the front last year, as the oil-filled bushings started dripping oil. Engine oil and filters were changed this summer, and I haven't driven much on it, so it's all as new.

Comes with summer and winter tires on rims. Has all the original keys and paperwork.

I'm in no rush to sell it, but the price is not set in stone, open for a reasonable discussion.
