The first cars in a model series are often the most unadulterated versions, and the Diablo in its "Prima Series" form is no exception. It is, the purest iteration of Lamborghini's last pre-Audi model.
This 1991 EU-spec car was originally destined for the Mexican market but was delayed in customs—Possibly due to the incarceration of a rather well-known cartel figure. As a result, it was ultimately delivered new to its first owner in France and first registered in 1994. Over the years, it has remained primarily in France, passing through only a handful of owners.
From 2002 to 2016, the car was consistently serviced and maintained by marque specialists Noël Racing in Aix-en-Provence. Following its sale to a new French owner in 2016, maintenance was entrusted to Garage Calderoni, which carried out a comprehensive engine and gearbox-out mechanical overhaul between October 2018 and July 2019. Invoices totaling approximately €30, 000 document the work completed. A translated list of the executed work is available on request.
In early 2024, a collector and close friend of MOTIKON acquired the car as part of a trade for his Jaguar XJ220. Since then, he has used it sparingly and has now decided to sell. To prepare the car for sale, MOTIKON performed a major service, ensuring the car presents as well mechanically as it does cosmetically.
In conclusion, we present an excellent example of the rear-wheel-drive Prima series Diablo, benefiting from a recent in-house service. It is as impressive mechanically as it is cosmetically. The sale includes various invoices dating back over 20 years, along with Lamborghini literature.
