This 2003 996 911 was originally a show car, delivered new to Porsche Zuffenhausen themselves. Being a Show car Porsche heavily specified the car with options including the desirable X51 powerkit, 18-inch five-spoke alloy “GT3” wheels, Leather-covered steering wheel airbag module, leather-edged floor mats with ‘Porsche’ script, Left and right electrically adjustable sports seats with Porsche crests, and a Rear wiper.
The car also features a factory aero kit and a carbon fibre RUF rear spoiler. The Speed yellow exterior is matched with a Porsche exclusive manufaktur interior with the transmission tunnel, back of seats and stitching all in the same colour as the exterior.

The highly optioned Porsche was subsequently sold to a Herr Rudi von Sternberg, A man who wanted the already special Porsche to be even more special, He decided to reach out to RUF, a renowned tuner of Porsches that during the time offered various enhancements to the 996 platform: including the R Kompressor variant von Sternberg opted for. This supercharger system, when integrated with the water-cooled flat-six engine of the 996, provided substantial increases in power and performance compared to the stock X51 996. A substantial upgrade to 409 horsepower from the original 345 makes this car match the performance of the Turbos of the day, but with rear wheel drive and power delivered in a more linear fashion the car comes with an advantage in the fun factor. The RUF R Kompressor is a bespoke take on Porsche’s defining sports car, combining the classic analogue 911 driving experience with a potent supercharged engine.

Described by the MOTIKON team as a perfect daily drivable sports car. The 996 represents the last of the true analog sports cars while still benefiting from the comforts of a modern one with amenities like cruise control, climate control and heated seats.

This beautiful Porsche 996 RUF R Kompressor has has been kept in a private collection for the last 10 years, The car is well documented with the original owner’s book pack, RUF build sheet and specification, a Carpass mileage certificate, and two keys with two valet keys.
