"Spider Plus 3 - MTB Shoes"
The Spider Plus 3 by Northwave is a sporty all-mountain shoe with good insulation properties. The X-Crossbow sole by Michelin provides excellent grip, while the shoe fits perfectly thanks to the S.L.W 3 closure.
Features - Spider Plus 3 X-Crossbow Michelin sole with self-cleaning lugs and widened edge lugs for superior grip
Thermowelded ply construction with thermowelded internal reinforcements provides maximum protection with reduced thickness and weight. Soft fabric lacing eyelets reduce pressure points. Rubber print on the heel. New toe cap with thermowelded TPU reinforcement SLW3 knob with wide Velcro closure: the only closure with gradual loosening and full opening at the touch of a button. Perforated upper ensures optimal ventilation.
Technologies
X-Crossbow Michelin Sole
The X-Crossbow sole gets an upgrade with a Michelin tread inspired by MTB tire design. The improvements include even more edges to ensure optimal grip on all surfaces, combined with a new design with smaller tread blocks for maximum traction. The wider gap between the individual tread blocks increases the self-cleaning ability of the tread.
Multilayer Thermowelded Construction
New Multilayer Construction: A lightweight microfiber is bonded to large, thermowelded mesh ventilation inserts - the same thickness of a conventional single layer. The result: better comfort and lighter weight.
S.L.W.3
The new SLW3, developed by X-Dial, is absolutely unique and offers ultra-fast, micrometer-precise fastening. This compact mechanism is very easy and intuitive to use. Simply push the button for step-by-step opening - or lift the button to completely open the shoe instantly.
