Skick: Mycket bra skick - som ny
This stunning Japanese bride doll, dressed in a beautiful white kimono and holding a fan, is a captivating piece of art. Approximately 20 years old, it shows a few stains and slight fading due to age-related wear, but remains in excellent condition with no significant damage considering its age. Please note that the doll does not come with a display glass case. Kindly review the pictures for more details on its condition. While there are many bride dolls available in the Japanese market, this particular one is quite rare and difficult to find. It was acquired from an antique shop in Japan.
The large character 寿 (Kotobuki) on the wooden plate symbolizes "longevity," "congratulations," or "blessing" in Japanese, and the inscription below indicates the author's name: 寿㐂代作 (Sukiyo).
The doll stands about 43 cm (16.9 inches) tall. Platform Width: 27 cm (10.6 inches), Length: 21 cm (8.2 inches)
