Looking for a horse/riding opportunity in Stockholm 🐴
Hi! I’m looking for a long-term horse/riding opportunity in or around Stockholm.
I have several years of hands-on experience with horses and stable work, including professional experience as a groom and horse-riding guide with Icelandic horses in northern Sweden and sport horses in Germany. I’m confident with everyday horse care, handling, grooming, tacking up, feeding, mucking out and general stable work.
I ride independently and currently jump around 60–70 cm. I’d now really like to develop my riding further, especially in dressage and jumping, and ideally gain experience riding different horses.
I’m currently studying in Stockholm and considering preparing for the Hippologprogrammet – Ridhäst at SLU, so I’m looking for something regular and long-term rather than occasional riding.
As I’m a student and have a limited budget, I’m primarily looking for an exchange arrangement: I can offer reliable help with stable work and horse care in exchange for riding opportunities. If there is also the possibility of occasional guidance or training, that would be wonderful, but it’s not a requirement.
I’m responsible, physically fit, used to hard stable work and very motivated to learn. I’m happy to travel outside central Stockholm for the right arrangement.
I speak English and Italian and I’m currently studying Swedish — jag lär mig svenska och övar gärna i stallet också 😊
