For sale is a complete 5-volume edition of the Shahnameh by the Persian epic poet Ferdowsi, edited by Mohammad Roshan and published by Moasseseh Khavar (First Edition, 1372/1993–1994).
This edition is well suited for collectors, libraries, students, and researchers in Persian literature, Iranian studies, and cultural history.
Included:
Complete 5-volume set.
Original geographical map of the Shahnameh.
Original map guide/booklet accompanying the map.
Condition:
* All volumes are complete and clean internally.
* Volume 1 is missing the initial blank page at the beginning.
* Minor wear to the hardcover bindings (Volumes 1 and 5).
* The wear is mainly cosmetic and could be professionally restored if desired.
