Artist: Signed L. Olsson in the bottom left corner.Date of Creation: Painted in 1946 (dated by the artist on the chassis).Title & Motif: "Bränningar på Soten" (Breakers/Waves at Soten). Features a striking, atmospheric coastal landscape depicting the iconic granite rocks and turbulent waters of Sotefjorden/Sotenäs in Bohuslän on the Swedish west coast.Framing: Mounted in a classic, clean mid-century metallic strip frame.Backing Detail: The back frame includes an authentic vintage framer’s detail using a recycled fragment of a Lennart Olsson poster as structural backing paper.Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The canvas is tight, intact, and well-preserved on its original wooden stretcher bars.
