Scanmar 35

It's time for us to pursue new hobbies, so with a heavy heart, we decided to sell our beloved Scanmar 35.

She is hull nr. 51, from 1985. We have owned her since 2018 and did many extensive upgrades each year.

She is a very comfortable, fast, and safe boat to sail, with a well protected center cockpit layout. She took us across the Baltic Sea to Gotland, Öland, Åland, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, etc.

The interior is spacious, two cabins with double beds, L shaped kitchen, separate toilet, standing headroom in the saloon: 1.95m.

A vectran jib and full battened vectran mainsail with 3 reef points, Selden low friction carts, and lazy bag from Lundh, all in a great condition (2021), older gennakker on a furler.

Almost the entire rig has been gradually replaced except for the mast. New standing and running rigging, shrouds, new Selden Furlex 204S, Selden mainsheet and backstay sheet, Selden blocks, new spreaders, etc. (2020-2024)

A new sprayhood and cockpit tent from BlueOcean (2024-2025), with removable sides like a bimini and a sprayhood storm enclosure (for rough weather sailing). High quality sunbrella red.

Completely rewired 12V system: MasterVolt, BlueSea, Skyllermarks and a new electrical panel (2020)

230W solar (2x90W, 1x50W) with an MPPT solar charge controller (2020). She is self sufficient with electricity in sunny weather (fridge/freezer + all electronics), so you'll rarely need to go to a marina or pay for electricity

New Deep cycle AGM batteries (1x 80Ah engine, 3x 80Ah house bank) (2025)

Garmin GNX wired instruments (log, depth, wind) (2020) on a console that can be used both from the saloon and the cockpit. With the sprayhood storm enclosure you can be protected from the elements, while steering using the autopilot.

Garmin echoMap CHIRP 72cv GPS on the steering pedestal.

Lowrance VHF with DSC and AIS receiver (2020)

Raymarine EV-200 linear drive autopilot, below deck (2022). Everything connected via the NMEA2000 backbone. The autopilot can steer based on the wind data and can follow the GPS waypoints.

LCD TV with DVD 12V in the saloon

Bluetooth stereo with 6 speakers (4 inside and 2 in cockpit)

A completely redone water system: new water hoses, new Isotherm SPA water heater, new taps, water pumps, shower in cockpit (or on the bad platform) (2020-2024)

New propane hoses, gas leak detector and smoke detectors (2020)

Electric and manual bilge pump and bilge alarm (2020)

2 independent heating systems: Wallas D40 diesel air heater and coolant to radiators heated by the engine

Fully reinforced bilge and keel (2020)

DZR-brass seacocks and thru-hulls (2020)

Epoxy-treated bottom (2021), freshly painted with Trilux hard antifouling (2026)

Renovated and regularly serviced Volvo Penta 2003 and 120S-B saildrive that runs like clockwork (New alternator, belt, impeller, leg mounts, new exhaust hose, cleaned heat-exchanger, cleaned diesel tank and filters)

Saildrive diaphragm replaced (2020)

Lifelines (mantåg) replaced (2020)

New bowsprit/peke and ground tackle (Delta, Bruce and Danfoth anchors) (2021)

Waste tank with a Gobius Pro sensor (Bluetooth) (2021), new waste hoses (2022) and Jabsco seals (2022-2026)

Engine room with easy access to almost everything that you might ever need to access to (engine, saildrive, electronics, heating, boiler, autopilot, steering, diesel tank, waste tank, etc)

Inflatable dinghy 200cm (almost as new, we barely used it)
