The Novation XioSynth 49 is a 49-key, 8-voice polyphonic synthesizer that functions as an integrated audio interface and MIDI controller, featuring a semi-weighted keyboard, X/Y "Xpression" touchpad, and 200 factory patches. It includes an integrated USB 24-bit audio interface with 2-in/2-out, XLR input with phantom power, and supports battery, USB, or adapter power for portability
Synthesizer Engine: 8-voice mono-timbral synth with 3 oscillators, 2 LFOs, and a resonant multimode filter.
Waveforms: Features 17 waveforms, including analog, noise, and 9 sampled waves (e.g., Rhodes, Clavinet, Bass).
Controllers: 49-key semi-weighted keyboard with velocity sensitivity (7 curves). Includes 11 rotary pots, 16 template buttons, and an X/Y touchpad for simultaneous control of 4 parameters.
Audio Interface: 24-bit/44.1kHz USB 1.1 interface (2 inputs/2 outputs), including a pre-amp with XLR input and phantom power for microphones.
Effects: Built-in multi-effects processor, plus the "X-GATOR" patch programmer for creating 16–32 step rhythmic patterns.
I/O: 1x MIDI Out, 1x USB 1.1 port, 1x XLR mic input, 1x 1/4" input, 2x 1/4" TS outs, and 1x headphone jack.
Power: Powered via USB, 6x AA batteries, or a 9V DC power supply.
