Kallax white shiny surface which is no longer sold at Ikea.
While assembling, one of the two wooden pieces (Ikea part number 101339) that connects the central panel with the top panel (as highlighted in one of the pictures is slightly broken. It is internal but the shelf is stable and looks almost new.
Due to this, it is highly recommended to use it vertically if you don’t use any insats.
I have couple of red insats (older ones but strong) that can be used to support for safety but it can be used without insats horizontally as long as not too heavy stuff is kept.

Insats are in the picture too. Price is inclusive of those insats.
