Up for sale the cult classic lens Nikon Nikkor P Auto 105mm f/2.5
The lens is in excellent cosmetic and optical condition, except for one mechanical issue: the aperture ring can only closes down to f/4 from f/2.5 and stop closing past f/4. It means that you'd have to use it the range of f/2.5-4 or wide open. I personally used it wide open most of the time. Since the lens is very sharp even wide open, I didn’t find it to be a problem. However, if you shoot film and your camera can’t go faster than 1/1000 sec shutter speed, you’d have to use an ND filter on a bright sunny day.
Other than that, the lens is an excellent performer and brings outstanding character. The same lens model was used by Steve McCurry to shoot the famous “Afghan Girl” featured in National Geographic in 1985. I added a few more examples shot with this model. The one with the dog was shot on film wide open, so you can see how sharp it actually is.
On Ebay, the similar models go for over 2000 kr, plus you'd need to to pay 25% VAT and the usual VAT processing fee to PostNord/FedEx etc. I've
