Designed Michel Ducaroy for Ligne Roset, the Togo fireside chair is one of the most iconic lounge designs of the 20th century. Introduced in the early 1970s, Togo broke away from traditional furniture construction and introduced a fully foam-based, relaxed seating concept.
This vintage fireside chair is upholstered in brown velvet, giving the sculptural form a warm and earthy character. The low profile and generous proportions make it ideal as a standalone lounge chair or as part of a larger Togo composition.
This piece shows visible wear consistent with age and use, including surface wear and patina in the velvet upholstery. The bottom fabric has been replaced. Structurally sound and comfortable. Please request detailed photos for specifics.
