The Sawyer MINI is one of the best water filters on the market and is much more compact than the already well-known Sawyer Squeeze. It filters 99.99999% of all known bacteria and 99.9999% of all protozoa purely physically without the use of chemicals. It completely removes microplastics from the water
Based on medical dialysis technology, the 0.1 micron Sawyer water filters have a bundle of microfibre tubes inside. Water is drawn through the tube walls into the hollow interior and passes through the end piece, while harmful bacteria and protozoa are trapped in the outer tube walls
The quality of the water purified with Sawyer water filters even exceeds the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requirements for clean water. All Sawyer water filters are tested 3 times, and are easy to clean with the included cleaning syringe. Not suitable for salt water, sea water or water with suspected viruses
