*Textiles: All woven fabrics have a weave direction, which in turn means that the fabric can be perceived to change in color. This is particularly prominent on a fabric with a pile such as chenille, velvet, plush and corduroy which gets its special character from the pile, which creates natural color shifts depending on how the light falls and whether the pile is standing up or lying down. Textiles with pile can have a tendency to get pressure marks when the pile lies down and there are impressions so it looks worn, this is normal for this type of fabric. The shade of the fabric that the customer has chosen for their sofa/armchair may differ slightly from the fabric sample/hanger in the store.
