A highly breathable Gore-Tex Paclite Waterproof Membrane is used with this lightweight hiking jacket so the inside of the jacket does not feel clammy when walking up steep hills. The ultra lightweight durable fabric allows your sweat to escape so you can stay dry and comfortable during hiking activities. The quality wire peaked hood with volume adjustment allows the hood to be tipped back and forth to get the wired peak at the right angle. Two mesh lined, zipped hand pockets, allow cross ventilation. Also, the pockets are postioned high enough, out of the way of rucksack straps. A DWR Durable Water Repellant surface finish ensures the surface fabric does not wet out to give excellent breathability in wet conditions when hiking.
