1961 Gibson Les Paul SG Junior tv yellow
Säljes95 000 kr
Typ av gitarr: Elgitarrer
Fair condition, 5,5/10, Made in USA, including non-original hardcase, this guitar is a dream guitar for many, an early double cut Les Paul Junior (later renamed SG) in the ultra rare color TV Yellow, nice and light and resonant, the good stuff first:
-original finish
-the guitar has some original parts such as the original tuners (currently in the case as 4 of the buttons have crumbled but they can be restored) and the truss rod cover, the pickguard and the volume and tone knobs (which are both missing the reflector tops)
and then all the other stories:
-has had a headstock repair
-looks like it has been through a few intense battles on stage, tons of MOJO!
mostly repro parts including pots from 1996, great looking Kluson Deluxe tuners with aged tips, newer chrome (but lightweight so possibly late 60´s or just a really good repro, not sure in this case) stop tail which is used as a wraparound bridge
-the guitar was once routed for 2 pickups and 4 knobs and 2 mini switches but the neck cavity has been filled, the 2 extra pot holes & the 2 mini switch holes have been filled and touched up, and one hole in the body that was all the way through the body has also been filled with a round wooden stick (not professionally)
-enlarged cavity to make room for extra pots
-oversprayed in some areas to seal in the touch ups
