The Yamaha TQ5 (released in 1988) is a vintage, desktop-format FM synthesizer and MIDI workstation.
The TQ5 has 100 presets, plus another 100 patches in RAM and an optional RAM card containing an additional 100 slots. The built-in sequencer is capable of storing 999 bars of music (about 10,000 notes) that can be recorded in real time or step time from a master keyboard

The TQ5 includes the following built-in effects:
Reverbs: Hall, Plate, Room, Gate Reverb, Reverse Gate Reverb.
Delays/Echoes: Delay, Stereo Delay, Stereo Echo.
Combinations: Distortion + Reverb, Distortion + Echo.
Effect Amount: You can set the level of the effect independently for each of the TQ5's 8 multitimbral parts.
* "Quick Edit" keys to access some basic parameters for instant tweaks.
