Portuguese Water Dog / PORTUGISISK VATTENHUND

We are pleased to announce that the long-awaited "S" litter of the Portuguese Water Dog breed was born at Daybreakers - 24.01.2025. Daybreakers has been operating since 2010 and has many champions, Interchampions, Club Winners, Crufts Winners, World and European Winners. Puppies from our breeding have gained recognition in many countries around the world as show dogs, breeding dogs, working dogs, and excellent family dogs. The Daybreakers kennel recommends black Portuguese Water Dog puppies for reservation, males and females, wavy- and curly coated. The parents of the puppies are: Vice Junior World Winner, Junior Interchampion, Junior Ch. Poland, Croatia, Lithuania and Slovakia - Special Vero Claricreek Call Me Winner "Blue". The dam is Junior Champion of Poland, Junior Winner of Poland, Champion of Poland, Winner of Poland Cha Cha Daybreakers Jemalle "Mia". Litter "S" is a unique combination of world famous American and European breeding lines. The parents of the litter have been tested for dysplasia, heart disease, eyes and all other genetic diseases occurring in the breed (certificates). The puppies will be ready to leave the kennel at the age of 8 weeks after preventive heart tests, dewormed and vaccinated according to age and the export requirements (puppies are born in Poland). Each puppy will leave our kennel with a rich "puppy bag" and the necessary instructions for rearing and upbringing. All our puppies are born at home and raised in excellent conditions surrounded by other people and animals. We use early neurological stimulation of puppies and a full socialization program. Our kennel belongs to the Kennel Club in Poland. Only the Polish Kennel Club (ZKwP) certificate and the multi-generational pedigree issued on its basis guarantee the authentic origin of the dog, as well as the possibility of participating in numerous cynological events organized in the country and abroad. ZKwP was established in 1938. ZKwP is the only Polish cynological association registered in the FCI, and the pedigrees of our dogs date back to that period and also have further documentation, with ancestors directly imported from the country of origin of the breed. Before you decide to buy a puppy, you should familiarize yourself with the breed. This is a breed strongly focused on the relationship with people, and needs closeness and tenderness throughout its life. The Portuguese Water Dog is an exceptional representative of dogs working in the water, known for its intelligence, energy, swimming skills and great willingness to learn and train. Portuguese dogs do not molt, which does not mean that they do not lose hair - they gradually replace it throughout the year. The breed originates from Portugal, where for centuries it accompanied fishermen in their daily work.
